This Little Light of Mine

First, today is National Non-profit Day and I want to pay a big shout out to our family's favorite nonprofit Miracle Travel Works, Inc. They were introduced to us just over 4 years ago, at a time when we weren't sure how we were going to keep moving forward. They have helped to lighten the burden that our family (and others like ours) carry while we travel for medical treatment for our life's greatest gift, our kids. We recently had the great pleasure of meeting our friends in person for the first time at their annual Chip It for Charity fundraiser where we had the honor of sharing our family's story. I can assure you that every dollar they raise goes directly to deserving families in the Midwest. They are amazing people with huge hearts doing extraordinary things♥️ 

Last, but not least, updates on our girl🦋 She continues to move in the right direction. She was up taking walks with the physical therapist today, her appetite is coming back (still on a liquid diet), and best of all her little light is starting to shine again (there were lots of little swollen smiles today)💗. Her doctors continue to tell us how beautiful her vessels sound. She has just one more day of careful monitoring before we are in the clear for her new muscle and it's blood supply.🙏🏼
