Josie was released this morning just before noon. She slept very sound all night, woke up briefly at 6 to use the bathroom and eat some jello and went back to sleep. She's pretty swollen but had only a dose of Tylenol today and says that her cheek doesn't hurt, it seems to just be the drain tube bothering her. We are back at the apartment lounging now. The kids were laughing and giggling earlier so she's getting back to her old self. Last night she was investigating her cheek and said "mom, my cheek feels so different!" We put her glasses on today and they are loose on her face. Its just so exciting to see the changes already! I've been sort of pinching myself today thinking about our journey and how we ended up here. Its nothing but the pure grace of God. If we'd chose one path differently in Josie's journey we would have missed this, that's pretty humbling.
