Released from the Hospital
Josie was released from the hospital shortly after 2 p.m. today & we have been napping since.
She rested off & on through the night last night, getting restless when the pain meds wore off. She woke up this morning with a big appetite & even felt like playing in the play room. Big improvement over last time!
We found out that we'll be coming back within the next month. They want to get her in before the school year starts & Dr Waner's calendar is tight so we pretty much go when he says. I call next Tuesday to find out when.
When Dr. Waner came in today he looked Josie over & said to us "she looks quite different, no?" I agreed & commented to him that I hadn't been able to stop looking at her and then jokingly asked if he had a superman cape tucked under his collar. Surprisingly, I got a big smile and a chuckle from the serious doctor and through a smile he immediatly returned to topic & repeated what his plans are for Josie. Gotta love the good doctor; no time for compliments or idle chit-chat. Thats what brilliance looks like:) Have a good night!
