4 weeks post-op
We are nearly 4 weeks out and Josie's features are continuing to surface as the scars are beginning to fade; such a beautiful thing! Most days she'll proudly show you her scars if you ask to see them, and usually she'll say "and it didn't even hurt!"
She has been going full force since the drain tube was removed. Her nerves must be waking up, it seems her smile is getting a little more lift in it. We visited Dr. Franks last week and he gave her exercises to do to work her facial muscles; mostly they just make her giggle because they include things like making fish lips and puffing out her cheeks.
I've included pictures of Brooks in here too, I think he's been feeling a little left out. When I asked Josie to pose for pictures today he piped up and said me, too! He also requested his pictures be added along with Josie's :)
We all enjoyed this crazy but completely wonderful 65 degree winter weather today. We spent the morning in the park and after Millie's nap we headed back out to the sandbox. Hope everyone got to enjoy the day as well!
